Has anyone mentioned elsewhere that SOHO has their "pick of the week" of the CME as seen from STEREO (Ahead)?

The Sky at Night this evening (BBC1, 11.50 Sunday 4th April) is entitled 'The splendours of the Sun'. I joined John Brown to talk about STEREO and the new SDO mission and I tried to get a plug in for solar stormwatch. A longer edit will be repeated on BBC3 or BBC4 throughout April and it should be available on the iplayer as usual.

Cheers,

Chris.

No time for a mention of stormwatch in this edit then I wonder if it will make it into the extended edit on Wednesday? Thanks for staying up ElizabethB!

<<Note to self - read other threads before posting.>>

Just posted in chat ::) that I thought the interview was really good. :) As was Prof John Brown. And I also wondered if the SSW mention might be included in Wednesday's extended version of S&N.

<<cough>>

And I've just read that Prof Brown is a member of the Scottish Conjurers' Association! Any magic tricks then Chris?

Yes, he did lots of tricks! None of them made it into the edit though.

I assume it's the Wednesday version with Chris' plug for SSW. I didn't see either broadcast; way past my bedtime.  ;D ;)
